Basketball Recap: Hoover Patriots vs. Frontier Titans
Hoover lost against Frontier back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hoover Patriots fell just short of the Frontier Titans by a score of 67-65. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Hoover lost, don't look at RJ Franklin. Despite the final result, he posted 22 points. That's the most points Franklin has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Pamir Olivier, who scored 13 points.

Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Frontier, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoover will challenge Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hoover has insisted on making their lastfive contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-3 during that stretch of close contests. As for Frontier, they will square off against Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
