Basketball Recap: Gilmer Comes Up Short

Gilmer was the 66-41 winner over Cumberland Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Gilmer Buckeyes fell to the Cumberland Academy Knights 49-44.

Gilmer dropped their record down to 7-23 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Cumberland Academy, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-25.

As of now, neither Gilmer nor Cumberland Academy have any future games scheduled.
