Thayer Central won the last time they faced Centennial and Brady Degenhardt did his part to make sure it happened again. The Titans took down the Broncos 52-34 on Saturday with plenty of help from Degenhardt, who went 12-for-14 en route to 26 points and eight boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 51.1% shooting accuracy.

Despite the defeat, Centennial saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Parker Perry posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for Perry. Jake Hoffschneider was another key player, putting up six points.

Thayer Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Centennial, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home.

Thayer Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-35 defeat against Shelby-Rising City on the 10th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next contest, a 68-65 win against H&H on the 10th.
