Presentation was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Castilleja Gators 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since September 13th.

Presentation was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 19-25, 25-14, 16-14.

Alenena Masters paced Presentation's offense, picking up 12 kills. Masters got some help from Penny Johnson and her 34 assists. Gabby Whitehurst controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Despite the loss, Castilleja had strong showings from Aria Feitelberg, who had 22 digs and three aces, and Emily Shen, who had nine kills, three digs, and three aces. Shen has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 11 times she's played.

Presentation's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-20. As for Castilleja, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-7 record.

Presentation wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Leigh on the 20th. As for Castilleja, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Pinewood on the 21st.
