Prairie Grove is a perfect 7-0 against Huntsville since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.
Prairie Grove took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Berryville 13-3. Considering the Tigers have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kennye White tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
At the plate, Kayte Struve was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Zoe Dormer was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one triple.
Meanwhile, Huntsville had to endure a 13-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Green Forest on Tuesday as they made off with a 20-12 win. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Eva Turner was a standout: she scored three runs while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Kassidy Oberan, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5.
Huntsville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .459. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Green Forest only posted a batting average of .281.
Prairie Grove now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Huntsville, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-13.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Prairie Grove hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .354. However, it's not like Huntsville struggles in that department as they've averaged .338. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Prairie Grove skirted past Huntsville 9-7 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
