Softball Recap: Northpoint Christian Trojans vs. University School of Jackson Bruins
University School of Jackson typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Northpoint Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Bruins by a score of 7-4. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Bruins on Monday, they had to take a 8-1 defeat.
Ada Woodruff was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
