Softball Recap: Tohono O'Odham Comes Up Short

Tohono O'Odham lost against Sequoia Charter back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles lost 23-2 to the Stallions. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Tohono O'Odham's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. Those home losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 7.7 runs this season. As for Sequoia Charter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Coincidentally, Tohono O'Odham and Sequoia Charter will both be playing Thunderbird Adventist Academy the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face Thunderbird Adventist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Stallions will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
