Volleyball Recap: Crescent Valley Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Camas

Crescent Valley is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Camas. The Raiders fell 2-0 to the Papermakers.

Niana King paced Crescent Valley's offense, picking up five kills. King got some help from Lela Campos and her 13 assists. Piper Thompson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Crescent Valley's loss dropped their record down to 20-2-2. As for Camas, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1.

Crescent Valley has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Valley Catholic on the 11th. As for Camas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Skyview on the 14th.
