Soccer Game Preview: El Capitan vs. Valhalla

The El Capitan Vaqueros will face off against the Valhalla Norsemen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. El Capitan's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

El Capitan's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against El Cajon Valley, sneaking past 1-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for El Capitan as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Valhalla came up short against West Hills on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

El Capitan's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3-1 and their overall record up to 7-9-2. As for Valhalla, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10-1.
