East Webster had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Caledonia Cavaliers 43-23. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won four matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

East Webster was led to victory by Cooper Stidham and RT Moye. Stidham threw for 161 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, while Moye rushed for 30 yards and three scores. What's more, Stidham posted two passing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

East Webster's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Caledonia, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, East Webster will be playing at home against Kemper County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Caledonia, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The contest will give the Cavaliers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
