Washington fell victim to Oxford and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Chargers. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Generals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Washington's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-6. As for Oxford, they pushed their record up to 15-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oxford, they will challenge Pontotoc at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
