Soccer Recap: Ferndale Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ferndale's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pontiac Phoenix on Tuesday.

Ferndale's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 4-8-2. As for Pontiac, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4-2.

Ferndale wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, an 8-0 loss against Oak Park on the 24th. As for Pontiac, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Academy of the Americas on the 25th.
