Basketball Recap: King's Academy Takes a Loss

King's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 49-29 to the East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers. The match was a close 20-17 at the break, but unfortunately for the Knights it sure didn't stay that way.

King's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

King's Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Athens Christian Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. East Texas Homeschool Sports will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Marshall Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
