After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tug Valley, St. Joseph Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tolsia Rebels with a sharp 8-2 win. The Irish haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Wyatt Pence, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Brody Runyon, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs.

St. Joseph Central's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Tolsia, they dropped their record down to 3-27 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

St. Joseph Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-1 victory against Wirt County on the 16th. Tolsia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
