Dawson extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Jaycee Ingram. The Dawson Eagles blew past the Shadow Creek Sharks 80-52 on Thursday thanks in part to Ingram, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Jaylynn Perez-Richard, who posted 13 points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Shadow Creek's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aliyah Woodard, who scored 19 points and eight assists. Woodard's afternoon made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Shona Gilbert was another key player, going 7 of 14 en route to 14 points and six boards.

Dawson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points per game. As for Shadow Creek, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-10.

Dawson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-46 win against Pearland on the 25th. As for Shadow Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-25 victory against Dobie on the 25th.
