Football Game Preview: Lancaster Christian Academy vs. Sacred Heart of Jesus

Sacred Heart of Jesus have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they will take on Lancaster Christian Academy at 7:30 PM. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.

Sacred Heart of Jesus faced Riverside Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Sacred Heart of Jesus were the clear victor by a 52-28 margin over Riverside Christian Academy.

Last Friday, Lancaster Christian Academy put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Franklin Classical School 48-0. Lancaster Christian Academy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Their wins bumped Lancaster Christian Academy to 6-1 and Sacred Heart of Jesus to 3-2. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
