Football Game Preview: Borrego Springs Rams vs. Julian Eagles + Official Tickets

Borrego Springs has gone a perfect 10-0 against Julian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rams will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Borrego Springs sitting on three straight wins and Julian on four.

Borrego Springs is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Francis Parker: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Rams blew the Lancers out of the water with a 64-24 final score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-24.

It was another big night for Christopher Alcaraz, who threw for 240 yards and four TDs while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 51 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending one pass. Josef Rocha was in the mix as well, providing Borrego Springs with two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Julian had no problem doing just that on Friday. They managed a 58-52 victory over the Wildcats.

Julian's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Borrego Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Everything came up roses for Borrego Springs against Julian in their previous matchup back in October, as the squad secured a 48-0 win. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
