Soccer Game Preview: Willow Spring vs. Jordan

The Willow Spring Storm will head out on the road to square off against the Jordan Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Willow Spring's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Willow Spring lost 5-1 to Apex Friendship on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Willow Spring can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Apex Friendship are ranked 31st).

Willow Spring's goal came courtesy of Shane Macmillan, which was the first he's scored this season.

Jordan fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Green Level by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. That's two games straight that Jordan have won by exactly two goals.

Jordan's record now sits at 4-10-3. As for Willow Spring, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-4.
