Basketball Recap: Trezevant Takes a Loss

Trezevant lost against Bolton back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trezevant Bears took a blow against the Bolton Wildcats, falling 84-56. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Bolton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rahsad MacLin, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. MacLin continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylan Collins, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 15 points along with eight steals and five assists.

Trezevant's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Bolton, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Trezevant will head out to take on KIPP Collegiate at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trezevant is facing KIPP Collegiate at the right time seeing as KIPP Collegiate is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Bolton, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Memphis Home Education Association at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
