Volleyball Recap: Millard North Gets the Win

Millard North hadn't done well against Pius X recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Thunderbolts. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Thunderbolts walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The victory didn't come easy: Pius X scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.

Soso Marin paced Millard North's offense, picking up seven kills. Marin got some help from Sarah Faust and her 11 assists. Faust was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
