While LaBelle's win against Immokalee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. LaBelle sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over Immokalee on Friday. The Cowboys/Cowgirls haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Abby Hicks spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Carli Spencer, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Nevaeh Crumb was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

LaBelle's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Immokalee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

LaBelle will take on Sebring at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. LaBelle's pitchers better be ready for this one: Sebring has averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Immokalee, they will challenge Fort Myers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
