Volleyball Recap: Lincoln-Way West Comes Up Short

Lincoln-Way West was the 2-0 winner over Benet Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Redwings on Friday.

Benet Academy can attribute much of their success to Ryan Pecak, who had nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs Pecak has posted over his last five games.

Lincoln-Way West has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Benet Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Coincidentally, Lincoln-Way West and Benet Academy will both be playing Glenbard East the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Rams at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Redwings will play them later in the day, at 8:30 p.m.
