Volleyball Recap: Horizon Science Academy Takes a Loss

Horizon Science Academy lost against Elgin back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hawks lost 3-0 to the Comets.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-9, 25-6.

Elgin found their leader in sophomore Jocelyn Wall, who had eight digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Wall.

Horizon Science Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Elgin, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

As of now, neither Horizon Science Academy nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
