Preview: Fayetteville Christian Warriors vs. Freedom Christian Academy
Fayetteville Christian is 10-0 against Freedom Christian Academy since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Fayetteville Christian Warriors will be staying on the road to face off against Freedom Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on November 30th.
Last Tuesday, Fayetteville Christian suffered a tough 45-20 loss at the hands of Scotland Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, Fayetteville Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while Scotland Christian Academy is ranked 33rd).
Meanwhile, Freedom Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They breezed by Northwood Temple Academy at home to the tune of 54-22.
Allison Lett was a one-man wrecking crew for Freedom Christian Academy as she dropped a triple-double on 23 points, 23 rebounds, and 10 blocks. Another player making a difference was Izzie Dalton-Jimenez, who scored 13 points along with 6 steals.
Fayetteville Christian now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Freedom Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Fayetteville Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Freedom Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in February, winning 61-53.
