After a string of six wins, Florence's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sheboygan Christian Eagles.

Miley VanDenHeuvel paced Florence's offense, picking up six kills. VanDenHeuvel also shared the team's lead in assists with Sami Demuri: they picked up three each. Demuri was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lilly Grasse was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had five aces and four digs. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 27-13. As for Sheboygan Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 32-3.

As of now, neither Florence nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
