Boone pushed their score to eight the last time they played Edgewater, but on Wednesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Boone Braves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edgewater Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Braves as the squad haven't won a game since November 20, 2024.

Boone's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-3. As for Edgewater, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-2.

Boone will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against East River at 7:30 p.m. As for Edgewater, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bishop Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Moore will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Edgewater surely won't give up without a fight.
