Softball Game Preview: Sandusky Wolves vs. Millington Cardinals

Sandusky is 0-3 against Millington since April of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Wolves will square off against the Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. Sandusky will be strutting in after a victory while Millington will be coming in after a defeat.

Millington will be up against a hot Sandusky team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Wolves' pitchers stepped up to hand Capac a 19-0 shutout on Friday.

Meanwhile, Millington fell victim to Goodrich and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 11-0 to the Martians. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Cardinals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Millington fell to 2-1. As for Sandusky, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Sandusky might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Millington when the teams last played back in June of 2018. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
