Basketball Recap: Dickson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Marietta last Tuesday, Dickson came back down to earth. The Dickson Comets took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sulphur Bulldogs on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Dickson's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Sulphur, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Coming up, Dickson will face off against Kingston at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sulphur has already played their next game (against Davis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
