Softball Recap: Kings Christian Takes a Loss

Kings Christian and Kern Valley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Kings Christian had to settle for second. They lost 24-0 to the Broncs. If the Crusaders were looking for revenge after losing 19-0 to the Broncs when the teams met back in April of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kings Christian dropped their record down to 7-14 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Kern Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Kings Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kern Valley, they will challenge Desert at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
