Gilbert Christian faced Scottsdale Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Knights skirted past the Eagles 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Lillie Duitsman paced Gilbert Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Duitsman got some help from Sidney Loth and her 14 assists. Alexia Heyn controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Gilbert Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.
