Volleyball Recap: Mifflin County Comes Up Short

Mifflin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Carlisle Thundering Herd, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-19.

Mifflin County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Carlisle, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

After both having extra time off, Mifflin County and Palmyra will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carlisle, they will challenge Milton Hershey at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
