Softball Recap: Millington Central Trojans vs. Evangelical Christian Eagles
Millington Central had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Evangelical Christian Eagles 11-1 on Monday. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Breanna Hulsey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Hulsey was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Aleeah Fiene was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. Grace Bell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with five RBI and two doubles.
