Softball Recap: McGuffey Highlanders vs. Seton LaSalle Rebels

McGuffey entered their tilt with Seton LaSalle with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Seton LaSalle Rebels onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Wednesday. For McGuffey, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 defeat Seton LaSalle walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

Not much got past Makenna Crothers, who gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks to keep Seton LaSalle off the board. Crothers has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in four consecutive pitching appearances.
