Volleyball Recap: East Butler Comes Up Short

East Butler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Twin River Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Thursday.

Lillie Kriz paced East Butler's offense, picking up five kills. Kriz got some help from Emily Lyons and her eight assists.

East Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Twin River, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-19 record this season.

Coincidentally, East Butler and Twin River will both be playing McCool Junction the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
