Recap: Tuscarora Titans vs. Manchester Valley Mavericks
The Tuscarora Titans lost against the Manchester Valley Mavericks back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Tuscarora received a tough blow as they fell 63-49 to Manchester Valley. Tuscarora has struggled against Manchester Valley recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Tuscarora lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Laney Barton, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Barton has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Janae Morrison, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Tuscarora's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-9. As for Manchester Valley, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuscarora will take on Oakdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manchester Valley, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome South Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. South Carroll is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
