Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wareham). They blew past the Avon Panthers 56-16 on Thursday. With the Vikings ahead 25-4 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Despite the loss, Avon still got an impressive performance from Janelis Rivera Rodgriguez, who posted 12 points. Those 12 points gave Rivera Rodgriguez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniyah Pierre-Louis, who earned no points and six rebounds.

Wareham's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Avon, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
