Basketball Game Preview: Valley View Eagles vs. Salado Eagles

The Valley View Eagles and the Salado Eagles will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Valley View comes in on three and Salado on four.

Valley View can't be too worried about heading out to take on Salado: they just beat Italy at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Valley View took down Italy 55-39 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Salado was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Slocum 81-44. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 25 points or more this season.

Salado's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-8. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38 points. As for Valley View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.
