Basketball Game Preview: Keith Bears vs. Maplesville Red Devils

Keith is a perfect 3-0 against Maplesville since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Keith Bears will take on the Maplesville Red Devils. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Keith is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against South Lamar, sneaking past 49-46.

Keith got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jason Moseley out in front who went 5 of 9 en route to 15 points. The dominant performance gave Moseley a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Hall, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Maplesville entered their tilt with Verbena on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They breezed by the Red Devils to the tune of 63-33. Maplesville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Maplesville's win came from a few key players Keith will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Chris Simon, who earned 17 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Nehemiah Mccary, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Keith's record is now 13-15. As for Maplesville, their record now sits at 16-3.

Everything came up roses for Keith against Maplesville when the teams last played back in February of 2022, as the squad secured a 71-36 win. Will Keith repeat their success, or does Maplesville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
