Volleyball Game Preview: Mulvane Wildcats vs. Augusta Orioles

After both having extra time off, the Mulvane Wildcats and the Augusta Orioles will shake off the rust and duke it out on Tuesday. Augusta took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mulvane, who comes in off a win.

Mulvane can't be too worried about heading out to take on Augusta: they just beat Rose Hill at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Wildcats came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

Mulvane never let Rose Hill on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Augusta came up short against Andale on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Orioles in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 2-17-2. As for Mulvane, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7-3 record this season.
