Baseball Recap: Windsor Locks Wins Going Away Against Academy of Aerospace and Engineering

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Windsor Locks). They blew past the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets 15-2 on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Raiders with their most commanding win of the season.

Brady Camara looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Windsor Locks got a massive performance out of Jayden Ramirez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one triple. Those three runs gave Ramirez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dylan Hall, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Windsor Locks always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Windsor Locks' win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Windsor Locks will head out on the road to challenge Somers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will give the Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, they will challenge Cheney Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
