Somerset is a perfect 7-0 against Poteet since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Somerset Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Poteet Aggies at 7:00 p.m. Somerset's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Somerset came up short against Hondo on Tuesday, falling 8-1. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Meanwhile, Poteet managed to keep up with Hondo until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Poteet lost 3-0 to Hondo. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Aggies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Poteet's loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Somerset, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Somerset beat Poteet by a goal in their previous matchup on February 4th, winning 1-0. Will Somerset repeat their success, or does Poteet have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
