Volleyball Recap: Verrado's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Verrado came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Independence Patriots by a score of 3-1. The Vipers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Verrado walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 17-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Verrado pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Independence, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.

Verrado didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Buena on the 28th. As for Independence, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Hamilton on the 28th.
