Recap: Wapahani Raiders vs. Winchester Community Golden Falcons
The Wapahani Raiders entered their tilt with the Winchester Community Golden Falcons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Wapahani took their matchup at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 78-44 win over Winchester Community. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-20.
Isaac Andrews had a dynamite game for Wapahani, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Andrews has scored at least 25% of Wapahani's points. Camden Bell was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 6 rebounds.
Wapahani's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Winchester Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Wapahani will be playing at home against Lapel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lapel will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 275th, while Wapahani is ranked 21st). As for Winchester Community, they will head out on the road to face off against South Adams at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully South Adams focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Friday.
