Football Recap: Prosser Starts Season with Victory Against North Grand

Prosser gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on the North Grand Eagle Owls with a sharp 26-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Prosser's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Cora Johnson was especially locked on to North Grand's QB and sacked her three times. Myonnia Johnson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Prosser didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-0 victory against Orr on the 30th. As for North Grand, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 42-0 win against Phoenix Military on the 28th.
