Football Recap: Royal Palm Beach Skates Past Suncoast with Ease

Royal Palm Beach put their dominant defense on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They blew past the Suncoast Chargers 45-0. Fans of the Wildcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Royal Palm Beach was led to victory by Tyree Pearson and Max Griner. Pearson rushed for 99 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries, while Griner threw for 127 yards and four TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns Griner has posted since back in August of 2024.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Royal Palm Beach was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 218 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Suncoast didn't rushed for any rushing yards.

Royal Palm Beach's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Suncoast, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Royal Palm Beach will head out to take on Dwyer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Suncoast, they will take on Boynton Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
