Football Recap: Spartanburg Christian Academy's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Spartanburg Christian Academy fell victim to Whitmire and their airtight defense on Friday. They took an 18-0 bruising from the Wolverines. The loss put an end to the Warriors' undefeated start to the season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Landon Wulf and Kingston Green. Wulf gained 114 total yards and two touchdowns while Green rushed for 92 yards and one touchdown. Wulf was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 61 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Spartanburg Christian Academy fell to 2-1. As for Whitmire, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Spartanburg Christian Academy will welcome Camden Military at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitmire, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Mid-Carolina at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
