Baseball Recap: Carson Comes Up Short

Carson's tournament run continued when they took on Mission Hills on Thursday. The Colts fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 8-7.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 11-3-1. As for Mission Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Carson will venture away from home to square off against Gardena at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.36 runs per game on average), something the Colts will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Mission Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against El Camino at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Grizzlies' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
