Flag Football Game Preview: San Marin Mustangs vs. Alameda Hornets

The San Marin Mustangs will challenge the Alameda Hornets at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. San Marin is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

On Wednesday, San Marin was able to grind out a solid victory over Terra Linda, taking the game 18-7. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 178th, while the Trojans are ranked 409th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Alameda beat California 12-7 on Thursday.

San Marin's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Alameda, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8-1.
