Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Mena Bearcats, falling 3-0.

When it comes to explaining why Dover lost, don't look at Early Jackson. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs and two assists. Jackson has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Dover's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Mena, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.
