Softball Recap: St. Joseph's Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Joseph's Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Powdersville Patriots, falling 12-1. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in February of 2022.

St. Joseph's Catholic saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addie Murphy, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

St. Joseph's Catholic now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Powdersville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

Coming up, St. Joseph's Catholic will face off against Palmetto at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Powdersville, they will square off against Travelers Rest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
